Objective: Students will create a poem about who they are as unique individuals.

Activity:

Activity#1:

Introduce the I Am Poem template or Where I am From template that you are going to use.

As a group, go through the poem and with Partners, have students share verbally what they would answer for the different lines.  

Hand out the template of the poem. Have students use Moment of Silence to create in their poem. 

Activity#2:

Use Inner Outer Circle protocol to have students share out their poems with each other.
